Gigi’s Story
Gigi Boetto, a Brooklyn-based painter, has been diagnosed with FTD-ALS — a rare and devastating condition that has profoundly changed her life and her husband Jorge. Yet through this challenge, her art has become a lifeline and a legacy.
By collecting one of Gigi’s works — whether a giclée print or an original canvas — you are not only bringing beauty into your home, but also directly supporting her care during this difficult journey.

About Gigi
Gigi’s paintings are rooted in memory, emotion, and transformation, expressions of beauty created throughout the years.
In 2024, Gigi was diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) and ALS, a cruel combination that has rapidly impacted her health. While the diagnosis is devastating, her art continues to shine as a profound act of courage, love and creativity.
This site is both a gallery and a fundraiser — a way for friends, collectors, and new admirers alike to support Gigi’s care while preserving and celebrating her artistic voice.
